    By 2030, India will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by one billion tonnes

    The Indian government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to reducing its aggregate greenhouse gas emissions by one billion tonnes by 2030, according to Indian Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. Inaugurating the three-day International Conference on Systems Analysis for Enabling Integrated Policy Making in New Delhi, Dr Singh said this.

    By 2030, India will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by one billion tonnesThe minister said that India also aims to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels by half of the total consumption of fossil fuels by 2030. As a result of its unique geo-climate conditions, India has historically been vulnerable to natural disasters due to its vulnerability to natural disasters in the past.
